Community Outreach
For our biggest service project of the pathfinder year, our pathfinders spend two Sabbath's in October/November helping to stock the shelves of our Food Pantry. On the first Sabbath the Pathfinders, dressed in their uniforms, go door to door throughout the community passing out paper grocery bags with a flyer explaining the services we provide to the community. Our Pleasant Hill community generously donates to this cause each year. We thank them for their continued support of this much needed service in our community. On the second Sabbath, the bags of food are collected by the Pathfinders. A sorting station is setup in the church courtyard where church members join the Pathfinders in sorting all of the donated food; boxing them, labeling them, and storing them to supply the Food Pantry throughout the year. What an amazing opportunity to touch lives within our community!

Our service projects are lead by a different pathfinder unit, each month. If your pathfinder is not able to attend the planned monthly service project, they can make up the points by filling out the Community Service form below for a project they participated in outside of the club. Attendance is only mandatory for the month their unit is leading the project.
